Article Abstract:

A new study indicates that regular aerobic exercise may help improve a person's short-term memory. Doctors believe this might be caused by increased oxygen efficiency to the brain or an increase in the glucose metabolism.

Deep-sea therapy: oxygen chamber boosts heart-attack treatments

Article Abstract:

A study shows that hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO) can speed up the effects of anti-blood clotting drugs such as t-PA. HBO therapy also reduces the time needed by the heart to resume normal electrical activity by 50%.

The effectiveness of dopamine drugs to treat Parkinson's disease might be counteracted by patients who eat bran. The grain contains higher levels of vitamin B that prevent the drugs from properly relieving symptoms.
