Ambassador of the sea

Article Abstract:

The legendary Kenichi Horie who first set sail non-stop across the Pacific in 1962 when he also received a honorary citizenship of the city of San Francisco, is all set to sail again on the Suntory Mermaid from October 1, 2004. The Japanese sailor was overwhelmed by the adulation he received after his expedition in 1962 and his non-stop circumnavigation via the five great capes of the Southern Ocean is his another achievement.
