Ant eaters

Ants are intermittent food supply for trout in all seasons, but become especially important in the low water of late summer and early fall. A massive rise of trout with no apparent insect hatch can mean that flying-ant swarms have fallen to the river's surface and the technique to fish in such a situation is outlined.
