Assessment of cardiovascular regulation during head-up tilt and suspension in swimmers

Article Abstract:

A study was conducted to test the hypotheses by comparing the cardiovascular responses in nonendurance competitive swimmers with those in nonendurance track & field (T&F) athletes. The study indicated that the action of the antigravity muscles on cardiovascular regulation during upright standing was smaller in competitive swimmers than in track and field athletes.
