Resistance exercise, the Valsalva maneuver, and cerebrovascular transmural pressure

Article Abstract:

The effects of resistance exercise performance alone on systolic pressure, intracranial pressure and cerebrovascular transmural pressure are examined. Unilateral bicep curl Resistance exercise(RE) resulted in a greater increase in CVTMP as compared to a valsalva maneuver(VM).

Blood volume expansion and cardiorespiratory function: effects of training modality

Article Abstract:

Effects of various modalities of aerobic and continuous training on cardiovascular training of cardiorespiratory function and importance of training-induced blood volume (BV) expansion of LV function was evaluated.
