More MS hope: two new drugs may stem attacks

Article Abstract:

Beta interferon has been improved, and a promising new drug, copolymer-1, is under study. A new, more effective version of beta interferon, which can delay relapses, will soon be released. Copolymer-1 may also reduce the frequency of attacks, but has fewer side effects than beta interferon.

Sleep less: stay alert: shorter shut-eye might be all you need

Article Abstract:

Research indicates that people who think they have insomnia are as alert as those who consider themselves good sleepers. This leads to the conclusion that the insomniacs are getting all the sleep they need, and that it makes little sense for them to stay in bed longer than necessary.
