Article Abstract:
Whitetail deer are fond of swamps and frequent them because humans seldom intrude. Swamps provide good cover, and whitetail like water and the forage swamps offer. Hunters often find it easy to track deer in the murky mud, for they frequently use the same trails.

Identifying a whitetailed buck's daytime hiding spot and going there in the darkness while he is out feeding is the best way to catch a large buck. Deer select spots with good cover and usually return to their favorite places. One man describes his hunting trip.
