Bugging out in Florida: a guide to lobster season

Article Abstract:

Florida Keys is invaded by more than 50,000 divers every summer for the opening of the recreational lobster season. The spiny lobster is the top commercial seafood in the state with an average of six million pounds catch every year. Lady Cyana Divers in Islamorada owner Gloria Teague commented that the lobster festival is a venue for divers to experience the thrill of pursuit and capture. Its sense of competition also makes diving, which is a very non-competitive sport, more interesting.

Zapetis is a boat thief currently incarcerated at Dade County's Turner Guildford Knight Correction Facility in Florida. Zapetis began his career smuggling marijuana from the Caribbean. Zapetis describes the technique he used to steal boats.
