Can-Am Classics is an annual, three-day road racing festival hosted by the Canadian Pacific Coast YSR Club. The event, which is held at the Pangborn Raceway in Wenatchee, WA, is highlighted by a Yamaha YSR50 motorbike races which include Novice and Women's categories.

Yamaha Motor Company Ltd tries to regain its glory days in the motorcycle racing circuit with the introduction of the YZF-R6. The new sportbike is designed for the higher end of the performance scale. The development of the new motorcycle model is discussed.
