The J/125 sailboat has a keel that accounts for half of its total weight, a design that ensures speed. The boat, designed by Rodney Johnstone J Boats Inc of Newport, RI, and manufactured by Warren, RI-based TPI Inc, is a product of 23 years of boat racing using carbon fiber materials.

Paddle and sail
Article Abstract:
An evaluation of the Caillou paddle and sailing boat is presented. This model measures 17.5-feet in length and seats two people. It can be paddled effectively in cases of wind failure but the steering is not easy to get used to.
