Article Abstract:
The perception of emergency medical services (EMS) directors' on certified athletic trainers (ATCs) management of emergencies and their comfort level in managing them is discussed. The EMS directors and ATCs revealed that ATCs had a higher perception of their own ability to manage emergency situations than the EMS directors and that they could manage most emergencies that arose in athletic activities.
