Article Abstract:

Research indicates that stress fractures of the ribs may cause back pain that is common in golfers. Fractures are most likely to occur when golfers unused to playing suddenly play for many days in a row. Push-ups three times a week can help prevent stress fractures of the ribs.

Sock headache pain: sporting goods may nab a headache

Article Abstract:

One way to ease the tense neck muscles that can lead to a headache is to tie two tennis balls in a sock and lie down with the balls under the site where the neck meets the skull. Exercises that strengthen neck muscles can also prevent headaches.
