Cost-buster camping

Article Abstract:

Camping can be an inexpensive vacation, and several ways to further reduce costs are presented. The purchase of good equipment and maintaining it, the use of transportation methods other than automobiles, picnic lunches and the use of lower-cost campsites are recommended. Low-cost activities are given.

River walleye bass fishing can be very productive on cool autumn evenings. Fish migrate from lakes to river outflows, and females are especially likely to bite. Tips on luring, trolling, and hooking trophy bass are provided.

'Eyes on flies

Walleye fish are most often caught with artificial flies that resemble mayfly nymph, stonefly nymph or caddis fly pupae patterns. Techniques to attract the fish to the flies are discussed.
