Elk hunters can have a successful hunt by following the animals and finding a position from which they can shoot the elk. The herds follow the same pattern and their behavior is more predictable, which makes hunting them more feasible.

Big sky bass

Bass are not endemic to Montana but were actually transplanted in the area in the early 1900s. The best places for bass fishing are the Thompson chain of lakes in Lincoln County.
