Detroit Diesel has finally introduced the latest in the triumvirate that includes 12V and 16V engines. The 8V engine four-strokes was developed as a joint venture between Detroit Diesel and MTU. The 8V Series 2000 will be equipped with a DDEC IV electronic controls and sequential turbocharging.
