Article Abstract:

Golf-course architecture has become a lucrative business, thanks in large part to golfing legend Jack Nicklaus. Nicklaus was able to charge large fees for his designs because the close association of his name would provide immediate prestige. His designs served to set the economic standard for all.

The Dunes at Maui Lani

Article Abstract:

A description is presented of the Dunes at Maui Lani golf course in Hawaii. The course which opened in 1999 is designed by Robin Nelson. The course has a 15-acre practice facility and a clubhouse.
