Most 4X4 vehicles do not have real four-wheel drive. The offroader who does not want a limited version of four-wheel drive will need a full-locking differential. The ARB Air Locker is a good system. It works by using compressed air.

Older 4x4 trucks have incandescent sealed-beam headlights and newer ones have quartz-halogen lamps, which are superior and can be used on older trucks. Additional lighting includes fog lamps, offroad lights and driving lights.
