Feminizing paid work
Article Abstract:
Women continue to hold an unequal position in the workforce and there remains a trend of feminization in part-time work and certain occupations. Though women make up a large body of the workforce they continue to face economic inequality and slanted power relations with men. Economic and gender dynamics have made the part-time workforce and low level positions such as secretaries and domestic workers feminized industries.
