Estrogen receptor alpha mRNA in human skeletal muscles

Article Abstract:

The highly sensitive nested reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction technique reveals that human skeletal muscles contain the estrogen receptor alpha chain (ERalpha) mRNA. Data indicate the existence of transcripts encoding the ERalpha in human skeletal deltoid and pectoral muscles.
