Exercise as an intervention for enhancing subjective well-being in an HIV-1 population
Article Abstract:
An examination of HIV-1 patients shows that interventions integrating physical exercises with psychological and emotional therapy promotes subjective well-being. Results reveal that both weight-training and aerobic exercises enhance self-efficacy, positive mood, and satisfaction with life. A social cognitive perspective enhances self-efficacy for specific and related physical activities.
