Article Abstract:
Gatorade, Powerade and All Sport are some of the sports drinks that promote effective hydration. Sports drinks enhance the amount of fluid the body absorbs since they contain not only water, but also small amounts of sodium and carbohydrates. They also do not quench thirst as quickly as water does. Such effect enables athletes to take the amount of fluid the body needs. In get the most out of a sports drink, it is important to read nutrition-facts labels to determine whether it will promote proper fluid replacement.
