Back in vogue: belt braces may cut injuries after all
Article Abstract:
The first large study of back braces indicates that they are associated with a lower rate of back injuries. Injury records of 36,000 Home Depot workers shows that workers experienced about one-third fewer injuries when they wore the devices compared to when they did not.
