Article Abstract:

Tennis is booming in China with about 8.2 million recreational players in the country and about 40,000 plus courts in China in the major cities of Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. Chinese feel that tennis is easier to learn, more convenient and cheaper than golf, and so more facilities are being built by sporting-good companies like Adidas and Nike and they are swooping in and helping to promote tennis.
