Going for the 'French factor': do flavonoids in red wine and foods promise healthy 'affairs of the heart?'(includes related information on flavonoids)

Article Abstract:

Death from heart disease is 2.5 times lower in France than in the US, and one of the factors may be the protective effect of a natural compound called flavonoids found in red wine. Flavonoids, however, may be found in other food sources including onions, green beans, and citrus fruit.
