George Brett, who helped the Kansas City Royals win their first pennant in 1980, believes he had a real chance of hitting over .400 that year. Brett actually finished the season at .390. Brett was interviewed while filming a television show on blue marlin fishing in the US Virgin Islands area.

Good hunting in the Badlands

Former baseball pitching great Jim 'Catfish' Hunter visited the North Dakota Badlands for a sharptail grouse hunting trip in Sep 1995, some 112 years after a young Teddy Roosevelt established a ranch and hunted in the area. The two men probably would have enjoyed each other's company.
