Goldenseal: can this herb boost immunity?
Article Abstract:
Goldenseal is the third-best-selling herb in the US but most of the claims made for it are unfounded. It is absorbed poorly into the bloodstream and thus has little impact on the immune system. It is highly priced. It can be used as an antiseptic for such problems as mouth sores and sore throat.
