Lund Boats has produced another sport and fishing boat from its line of aluminum vessels. The 1950 Tyee is powered by a 200-horsepower Mercury XRi V-6 outboard motor. The aluminum body performs as well as a fiberglass boat and is equipped with a wide freeboard and a canvas cover for wet weather.

Five compact jet boats were test-flighted to discover which one of them performs better. The boats include Bayliner Jazz, Sea Ray Sea Rayder FX-16, See-Doo Speedster, Yamaha Exciter 220 and Sea Rayder F-16XR. Among the boats tested, the Sea Rayder F-16XR was considered the leader.
