Suzuki gets serious

Article Abstract:

Suzuki Motor Co Ltd will introduce its new version of the TL1000S motorcycle in 1998. The new TL1000S will feature a conventional twin-spar aluminum frame and a liquid-cooled 90-degree V-twin engine that runs at 135 hp. It will also be equipped with dual radiators and beefed-up clutch.

Yamaha joins the retro race

Article Abstract:

Yamaha will launch the 1970 XS-1 look-alike XS650 as one of its entries for the year 2000. XS650 features a vertical-Twin engine, a modern disc brake and is modeled on the Triumph design. The bike will be introduced in Japan at a price equivalent to $5,825.
