Heartburn helper

Article Abstract:

Research indicates that sleeping on the left side rather than the right can reduce the incidence of heartburn after consumption of fatty foods. Gastroenterologists speculate that stomach acid migrates from the now elevated stomach toward the esophagus during sleep on the right side. This causes the heartburn.
