Home health payment under Medicare Part B: an update

Article Abstract:

This article details the actions of the American Physical Therapy Association to help physical therapists who find it difficult to receive payments under Medicare Part B for services provided to recently discharged home health plan patients. How the Health Care Financing Administration's final rule on the home health agency prospective payment system has impacted physical therapists is addressed.
