The frugal cruiser
Article Abstract:
Cruising may be made more economical by maintaining the gasoline engine's inboards and outboards at around 3000 to 3500 rpm and diesel engines at approximately 3/4 throttle. Single engines should also be preferred over two engines and the shortest distance should be taken to reach destinations.
