The US Sailing Team found to increase its record medal count at the Olympic Games in August 2004 at Athens that is evident by the teams 2004 sailing budget of $2 million, despite some of the distractions like the heat and security issues. Some of the sailor athletes who would be competing include Paul Cayard and Mark Mendelblatt and a brief analysis of their relative chances of winning, strengths, weaknesses, along with the details of their boat model and features are mentioned.
