Is barefoot better?

A growing contingent of natural hoof-care experts' states that barefoot is better for the horses. They believe that going barefoot makes bad hooves better and even excellent and it creates hooves capable of supporting a horse with the rider over most types of terrain and enhances a horse's overall health, comfort, and longevity.
