Kawasaki's 200-mph bird hunter

Kawasaki is developing a 1200 cc Ninja called the ZX-12 which can produce 180 horsepower and can go beyond 200 mph. A company spokesman said the ZX-12 is designed to be the fastest and quickest motorcycle in the world. It has a dry weight of 441 pounds and is 33 pounds lighter than Suzuki's Hayabusa.

Eller Motors' three motorbike designs would serve as the blueprints of its products for the year 2000. The designs are a retro-inspired bike, a sportsbike and a stoplight racer. Among the refinements made by Eller Motors are the use of three valves per cylinder and six-piston brake calipers.
