Lessons for life: A dangerous blend

Article Abstract:

Scuba divers Bill and Marla, who tried to save money with garage-blended trimix, encountered breathing problems halfway through their drive due to defective gas blending. The accident taught them the importance of gas blending, which should always be done by certified technicians using professional mixing stations that are maintained with routine inspections, maintenance and gas checks, to ensure safe diving.
