The basic marine air conditioner works like any ordinary air conditioner and its kit includes a condenser, an evaporat\or, a control box, and a thermostat. The raw water pump is designed to individual system and the delivery and return-air registers come in different sizes.

The issue of maintenance of boats and the after sales problems are dealt with. One has to mix improvement with repairs, and when the repairs costs exceed the cost of the boat itself, one has to sell it off within a year or two.
