Ray Roberts Lake, Sanger, TX, has many attractions including its bass population. Fishing is good all year round, but better in early spring when there are fewer people. Techniques for fishing for the lake's largemouths are described.

Texas Guadalupe bass: landing the other, other bass on the Llano

Bass fishing on the Llano River, TX, is described. During the summer anglers can expect to catch Guadalupe bass, a smaller fish than the largemouth bass. Junction, TX, is also a popular base for deer-hunters in the winter.

Advice on the availability of bass fishing on Lake Conroe, Huston, Texas is presented. Good numbers of deep bass are expected in April but lack of cover vegetation means it is not a high density bass habitat.
