Patients may soon be able to select entertainment in a doctor's office to help relieve their anxieties about uncomfortable physical exams. Teenage girls who watched MTV experienced less discomfort than usually exhibited according to a recent study.

Antihistamines may be effective in preventing diabetic retinopathy according to a study at Pennsylvania State University's Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. Diabetics who took antihistamines experienced less blood leakage over a six-month period.
