It consists of an expansive deck, a saloon accommodates galley and bar and plenty of space for lounging and entertainment, the roomy cockpit, the dinner table and nav station offers excellent outside visibility.

The Hunter 38, a hull designed by Glenn Henderson could manage an average speed over ground of roughly 6.5 knots at 2,500 rpm and 7.2 knots at 3,000rpm with its optional 40-horsepower Yanmar. The new sailboat priced at $154,490 features a sail area of 758 square feet, 29-hp Yanmar engine, and displacement of 17,674/17,250 lb.
