Article Abstract:

An easy technique for tying generic mayfly dun along with the spinner imitations of various sizes is discussed. The success of mayfly dun is related mostly to how well it is dressed and the manner and timing of its presentation to the fish.

Spinning soft-hackles

Soft-hackle (feather) flies can emulate a wide variety of aquatic organisms. The spinning technique is explained for three fly recipes: Western Green Drake Emerger; Bead Peacock and Grouse; and March Brown Wet Fly.
