Denver Broncos quarterback John Elway has accumulated impressive statistics during his career and has achieved virtually every goal football has to offer, except a Super Bowl victory. At age 35, and despite nine surgeries, Elway has said he would like to play through the 1998 season.

John Elway: passing opportunities

Article Abstract:

John Elway came to the Denver Broncos as one of the highest-rated college quarterbacks, but played in the conservative offense of coach Dan Reeves. Now, as the 1993 season gets underway, Elway is at last playing in an offense that will emphasize passing.
