Mounting a rifle scope has been made easier by manufacturers who provide drill holes during production of the rifle. The tools needed to mount a sight are a screwdriver, rings, an allen wrench and bonding agent. Hunters who follow the 11 steps properly will be able to adjust the scope to their eyesight needs.

Shot made from bismuth produces a harder and deeper hit than shot made from lead, but bismuth loads are expensive. Tungsten shot, which is ballistically better than bismuth shot, could be superior to lead. Energy comparisons of steel, lead, tungsten and bismuth are provided.
