My whitetail quest

Article Abstract:

A hunter recounts his attempts to shoot a whitetail deer that would give him a Boone and Crockett Club score above 155. His quest took him to the Canadian provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan where he finally captured a buck that gave him a score of 159.

Heartland bucks

Article Abstract:

The Nebraska-Iowa-Kansas-Missouri region presents some spectacular whitetail hunting, along with unique challenges such as gusty winds. Narratives of several hunting parties where large bucks were sighted, or bagged, are provided.

Article Abstract:

A description is presented of a number of narrow escapes which hunters have had when on hunting trips. These include being chased by a brown bear, landing amphibious airplanes in small areas and flying in bad weather.
