Article Abstract:

Osteoarthritis patients who did aerobic exercises for 30-45 min three times a week, were found to have such a reduction in pain, that knee-replacement surgery was postponed possibly for years. Strengthened muscles around the keek joint tends to stabilize it with the resultant reduction in pain.

Selenium vs. cancer: first human trial shows promise

Article Abstract:

Questions remain after a recent anti-cancer test with selenium. The 1,300 people in the test all had skin cancer and selenium failed to lower the number of new cases. Besides skin cancer, areas of further research includes testing people who live where there is high selenium soil content.
