Physical therapy improves knee flexion during stair ambulation in patellofemoral pain
Article Abstract:
The study is aimed to examine whether a physical therapy intervention, which is designed to reduce pain and improve the neuromotor control, resulted in greater improvements in stance-phase knee flexion and changes in individuals with patellofemoral pain. The study shows that the physical therapy intervention resulted in significantly greater changes in knee joint motion than a placebo treatment.

Exercise restores immune cell function in energy-restricted rats
Article Abstract:
The effect of chronic moderate-intensity exercise upon the alterations of immune system cell function inducted by energy restriction is evaluated. Training helped in the partial recovery of the decreased in immune function submitted to energy restriction (SER) plasma glutamine concentration and muscle glutamine synthase mRNA.

The effect of bracing on patella alignment and patellofemoral joint contact area
Article Abstract:
The effect of two patellofemoral braces on pain reaction, patellar arrangement and patellofemoral joint contact area in patients with patellofemoral pain is examined. The results conclude that significant changes in pain and contact area occurred without noticeable changes in the patellar alignment.
