Ray Greene: FRP-boat pioneer
Article Abstract:
Ray Greene built the first polyester-fiberglass boat and is best known for a 16-ft sloop called the Rebel that he introduced in 1947. He also conducted Bureau of Ships research and built a fiberglass sports car.
