Article Abstract:
Rock Hollow golf course in northern Indiana hosted the Indiana Open in July 1996, after having been open only 16 months. The course was built over a mined-out gravel pit by the Smith family, headed by patriarch Terry W., who enlisted the services of architect Tim Liddy to design it.

The Algonquin

The Algonquin Hotel at St. Andrews-by-the-Sea in New Brunswick, Canada features a golf course designed by Canadian golf-course designer, Thomas McBroom. The course, which opened in 1999, has a par-36 first nine holes with a par-35 back nine, with medium-fast greens.
