Sailors adopt Mexican village
Article Abstract:
American and Canadian cruising in their yachts along the coast of Mexico got a chance to help build houses in Chacala, a poor village. Habitat for Humanity volunteers plan to build 27 houses there. The project will continue into 1997 and sailors in the area are invited to come and work.

Facing the furies
Article Abstract:
The experiences of a veteran sailor regarding safety at sea are recounted. The lesson learned from his account is that no matter one's skill and experiences, it is always best to be careful especially when it comes to withstanding storms.
