Several routes for sailing the East Coast are analyzed. These include the Protected Inshore Route which is suggested for beginners, the Conservative Offshore Route which is for a more controlled first-time sailing experience and the Macho Offshore Route.

Testing the satellite safety net
Article Abstract:
The advantages of using an Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon (EPIRB) are discussed. An EPIRB which runs at 406 megaHertz is slated for market introduction in 1997. This further enhances the use of the equipment for rescue during sea accidents.
