Setting the record straight: marine electronics misconceptions
Article Abstract:
A number of marine electronic misconceptions are corrected. Single-sideband (SSB) radio is believed to be obsolete because AT&T has stopped providing its High Seas Radio Service. This is not accurate since SSB radios are still being used by most fishermen through the service of Coast station WTO.
